A stunning rendition of cool-climate Shiraz! Red-fruit and subtle spice on the aromas, with a hint of cooling minty herbal character. This carries through on the palate, which is soft and inviting. A far cry from the powerhouse style of Barossa, or even the creamy weight of Eden Valley; this is a refreshing, elegant expression of the varietal which offers exceptional drinking pleasure. 18 months in French oak barriques, 30% new.
