2017 Meo-Camuzet Nuits-St-Georges

An elegant and easy to taste Nuits. Light but concentrated with mouthfilling fruit. It`s a bit deceptive because Jean-Nicolas thinks it has real aging ability, despite its approachability. (CW 5/11/18)

Allen Meadows

Here too the wood treatment is admirably discreet on the very fresh, cool and appealingly airy nose of red currant, cherry and pronounced earth influence. There is equally good energy if not the same density to the delicious and lingering finish that is not quite as complex. To be sure, this is pretty and well-made but the Pommard has better underlying material. 87-89 points
