2017 Louis Jadot Beaune Clos des Ursules
Secondary Description
Domaine des Heritiers Louis Jadot
The Clos des Ursules is a 2-hectare enclave that has been entirely in the hands of the Jadot family since 1826. Firm, full and rich in ripe-berry flavours, its fine, slightly earthy bouquet coverges in a long, lush finish. Plenty of structure here, this will need a bit of time to come round to its best... but is already very rewarding. (NT 21/02/19)

The 2017 Beaune Clos des Ursules 1er Cru, one of my favorite vineyards from Jadot, has a lovely red and black fruit nose that feels harmonious and assured. The class of the terroir shows through here. The palate is medium-bodied with fleshy ripe red fruit and fine grip. A little sinewy, like the Les Cras, but showing fine precision and persistence on the finish. Excellent. 90-92 points
