100% Garganega. All on volcanic soils, not limestone. Pale gold with ripe, baked-apple aromatics, supplemented by nutty oak tones. Broad and rich nose. Richness to the palate too, with a flinty-smoky firmness of flavour. Lovely length, with a touch of phenolic grip. 16.5 points
