Subdued on the nose, the 2017 Chardonnay Ryo-fu gives up soft pear and white fruits with touches of toast. It`s medium-bodied, clean and fresh with toasty fruits and some nuttiness on the finish. 90 points

The 2017 Chardonnay Ryo-fu is gracious and supple, with notes of apricot, lemon confit and white flowers. This is a very elegant, pretty and classy wine. Soft and open, the 2017 finishes with lovely texture and nuance. This is very good. 93 points
