Allen Meadows
This is a bit more floral in character with its mix of red currant, cherry and soft wood nuances. There is more volume and punch to the attractively textured flavors that can`t match the precision but offer notably better depth and persistence where a touch of austerity arises. 88-91 points

Dujac`s 2017 Morey-Saint-Denis Village is very pretty, wafting from the glass with notes of plums, red berries, rose petal, cinnamon and other warm spices. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, succulent and giving with a juicy core of fruit and a light framing of chalky tannins. 87-89 points
Jasper Morris
Confiture of fraises with rose petals. Deeper colour and classier nose from another barrel. This has the usual classical weight, good acidity, whole bunch grainy texture and spice, very good length. 92 points

The 2017 Morey-Saint-Denis Village has a tad more precision on the nose compared to the Chambolle Village this year and feels very cohesive and harmonious. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, a fine bead of acidity and a core of sorbet-fresh red fruit. Though this lacks the persistence of a great vintage, it has a spring in its step. 87-89 points
