Extremely vibrant violet in colour, this is an even blend of Cabernet and Merlot, aged in 30% new oak barrels. There was no frost at this property, and the overall feeling is of vibrant but fairly softly-spoken red fruits, violet-edged with raspberry notes and gentle smoke.
