2017 Alberto Oggero Santo Stefano Arneis

The 2017 Oggero Roero Bianco Arneis has a richness and complexity I don`t always associate with the grape variety. It has apricot and greengage on the nose but it is the palate that is the star here. There`s everything you could want: lovely texture and fine grip from the skin contact that half the wine gets; there`s proper salinity, lovely, underlying acidity and a cleansing, long finish. Really good winemaking. (CW 21/10/19)
