2016 Taupenot-Merme Corton Rognet

The 2016 Corton Grand Cru is comparatively deep in colour. The bouquet is surfeit with red berry fruit, briary and crushed stone aromas, all well defined and beautifully assimilated with the new oak. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy black and red fruit, well judged acidity, clean and crisp with gentle grip on the finish.
