Alto Piemonte
Briar-patch aromas of dark fruit and forest floor, with a hint of raspberry or cranberry; quite complex. The palate adds dusty earth to the fruit, before running into a wall of remarkably comfortable tannin, grippy but ripe. The overall effect is a very full, satisfying mouthful with each sip; this is excellent for robust food, and will develop into a very complex wine with age. (JH 06/11/2021)
