Intense aromas of blacberry and blackcurrent, with ripe plum and dark cherry. Subtly smoky, in a superb place for drinking at 7 years of age. The palate is generous and silky, with soft tannin and punchy dark fruit, finishing with blackcurrent leaf and a hint of spice. Sourced from a selection of plantings on granite soil, aged for between 18 and 22 months, depending on the parcel, in French oak barrels prior to blending and bottling. (JH 01/06/2023)
