Lumpp opines that the stony, southeast-facing slopes of this lieu-dit represent Givry`s best terroir for white wine, and his 2016 Givry 1er Cru Crausot is certainly impressive, revealing fragrant aromas of white peaches and spring blossom, followed by a medium-bodied, elegantly glossy palate, with lovely purity and stony depth. It has the structure to improve with a few years` bottle age. 91 points
