Allen Meadows
A background application of wood can be found on the more elegant, ripe and beautifully layered nose that displays notes of both red and dark raspberry where notes of earth and spice add breadth. The notably refined, indeed almost lacy, flavors possess a lovely mouth feel before culminating in a sneaky long finish where the wood reappears. A wine of finesse that should drink well young. 89-91 points
