Stephen Tanzer
The 2016 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru is sensual, racy and quite inviting. Succulent red cherry, plum, mint, sweet spice and floral notes all meld together effortlessly. Supple and forward, with lovely purity in its flavors, the Charmes gives the impression it will drink well pretty much upon release. Attractive floral and savory notes add perfume on the silky, inviting finish. 90-93 points
