2015 Siran (Margaux)

The 2015 Siran shows quite a bit of new oak on the nose and clearly needs another few years in bottle. A little sappy in style, yet there is admirable delineation. The palate is well balanced with supple but fine tannin. Well-judged acidity cuts through quite a dense and grippy final half, confirming that this Margaux is for the long haul.
