Rustenberg are busy phasing out pesticides and herbicides from their vineyards and 2015 was the last year of (much reduced) use. Their vineyards range between 300 and 600 metres altitude and this shows in the bright and fresh melon and mandarine flavours. There is a touch of oak and very nice acidity. This is a great, balanced and versatile midweek quaffer. (CW 20/01/17)
