The 2015 Eclipse is 90% Grenache, 7% Graciano and 3% Shiraz, all from the estate vineyard in McLaren Vale. At this stage, it lacks the perfume of the intoxicating 2014, but it`s packed with concentrated fruit. Yes, it`s a powerful, high-octane wine, but the alcohol doesn`t show as heat when served at the proper temperature (16-18 degrees Celsius, or 60-65 degrees Fahrenheit). Deep raspberry and mulberry flavors pick up hints of spice on the lingering, silky-firm finish. 95 points
