Dried leaves, charcuterie and ripe plum on the aromas; this is a serious wine, despite its price, built to last, but it is very much at its peak now. The palate has a touch of damp earth, plenty of dried red fruit and some black cherry and refined, elegant tannins. Plenty of enjoyment to be had here, and (of course) a great deal of value for money! (JH 11/08/22)
