Jane Anson
A full expression of the vintage, with ripe fruit aromatics but very nicely handled, with a sense of weight but a lovely focus on the finish. This is a wine that develops over the palate; sneaks up on you. 90 points

Stéphane Derenoncourt. Really quite rich and broad. Racy and charming. Extremely vivacious. Chock full of fruit but then tense on the end. 17+ points

The 2015 Larrivet Haut Brion Blanc, a blend of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Semillon, did not quite deliver the requisite complexity and vivacity on the nose compared to the likes of La Tour Martillac or Olivier this year. The palate is well balanced, however, with a keen thread of acidity, hints of tropical fruit with fine salinity on the finish. It actually finishes in better fashion than it begins. 90-92 points
