The 2015 Lapalu Le Rang de Merle has a ripe and heady nose and is more hedonistically perfumed, more vivid and retains great fresness and balance. It is fully fruited and wears its considerable presence lightly. It is delicious and Jean-Claude put it through a cool ferment so as not to extract too much. (CW 21/11/16)
