This may well be the last bottling of the Rully Meix Cadot we see as in 2016 it was knocked out by the frost and in 2017 the landowner was demanding an unreasonable price, at least as far as Lydie Boillot was concerned. So Enjoy. The Meix Cadot site is a fabulous vineyard in Rully and all the producers we have represented there make wonderful examples. There is a little oak, but layers of fruit and mineral coat the palate and the finish is long. 2015 was a warm year and many of the wines show a tropical character but this is not unduly marked here.
