The 2014 Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru les Chaumées has a winsome, chalky bouquet that unfurls nicely in the glass but never gets too carried away. The palate is very well balanced with white peach, pear and nectarine on the entry, with a fine line of acidity and a pleasant weight on the finish that lingers. Quite refined, enjoy this Chaumées over the next decade. 90-92 points
