Meo-Camuzet Fixin Clos du Chapitre

Media Reviews

Neal Martin

The 2014 Frere et Soeur Fixin 1er Cru Clos du Chapître appears to have much more definition and focus than the village cru, a step up in terms of complexity and precision. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, touches of blueberry and raspberry, the oak nicely integrated with a harmonious, pleasing finish. This is recommended. 88-90 points

Allen Meadows

Here the admirably pure nose presents even more elegant and complex aromas of cool red berries, earth and a hint of humus that are trimmed in a touch of wood. The suave and notably rich medium-bodied flavors possess a seductive texture before terminating in a beautifully long and delicious finale. This too is good stuff. 89-92 points
