A good, balanced wine. Yes, it`s oaky but there`s acidity and bright fruit as well as the fudge, and there`s a lot less of that than in the past. It is long, super young and has some filling out to do. The shoulders have not yet developed. (CW 20/09/16)

One of those wines that’s instantly recognisable in a blind tasting, Nine Yards comes from a single two-hectare block at Jordan and is made to a consistent style. rich, supple and very approachable, with toasty vanilla oak, nectarine and tropical fruit flavours and an alluring finish. Drink. 2016-20. 93 points
