Antonio Galloni
The 2014 Pinot Noir (Sonoma Coast) is a gorgeous entry-level wine. Bright red cherry, cranberry, white pepper and tea laves are beautifully delineated. Time in the glass brings out the wine`s inner perfume and sweetness. Finely cut and sculpted, the 2014 is another terrific appellation level wine from Akiko Freeman. 91 points

Pale to medium ruby-purple colored, the 2014 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast conjures notions of cranberries, red cherries, underbrush and spices. Medium-bodied, the subtle red berry notes are framed by chewy tannins, and it finishes with appealing freshness. 87 points

A completely different aromatic expression more closely resembles that of the `15 Gloria with its plum, dark cherry, briar and earth-suffused nose. There is fine density to the round, succulent and fleshy medium weight flavors that coat the palate with dry extract on the delicious, sappy and well-balanced finale. This isn`t quite as refined as the RRV but there`s more here. 90 points
