Allen Meadows

From vines located in Prémeaux and Puligny with a 70/30 proportion. Here too there is enough wood to remark upon framing with pretty red pinot fruit, earth and discreet spice-suffused nose. The delicious middle weight flavors possess good punch and intensity that carries over to the delicious finale where the supporting tannins are not quite as ripe as those of the Passe Tout Grains. To be sure, this is good but the Passe Tout Grains is a more complete effort even though it is less refined. 86 points
