2013 Meerlust Merlot (Stellenbosch)

Meerlust is another estate with a longer history of wine production than some countries. Chris Williams has been expertly wrassling the wines here for many years and knows the vines and their qualities well. The Merlot at the estate is one of the remaining old school style beloved of the proprietors with a bit of oomph and weight. (CW 27/07/16)
