The Langoa Barton is a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc picked between 2 and 14 October. It has a light gravelly bouquet with blackberry and iodine with a tang of seaweed. The palate has a harmonious entry with fine tannins, a laid-back Langoa that is simple but elegant. This is a simple, easy drinking Langoa to enjoy over the next 10 years. Tasted April 2014. 87-89 points
