Stephen Tanzer
Pale yellow. Pungent aromas and flavors of lime, crushed stone, anise and silex. Dense, broad and sweet but gripping too, conveying a powerful sense of dry extract. Wonderful inner-mouth tension and verve here. Finishes saline and very long, with superb thrust. Very complex, intellectual wine with a light touch for all its dusty extract. 92-95 points

A pungent and penetrating nose of mostly mineral reduction and petrol notes precedes racy, tension-filled and mineral-driven large-scaled flavors that are at once powerful but beautifully well-delineated, all wrapped in an almost painfully intense, dry and hugely long finish. This is not as complex today as I believe that it will be as it develops so I would advise holding this for at least 4 to 5 years before cracking one. 92-94 points
