Allen Meadows
(from 20 different parcels scattered around Chambolle). This is notably more aromatically
elegant and a bit more complex as well with its pretty nose of black cherry, raspberry and soft floral nuances. There is good tension and detail to the delicious if not especially deep middle weight flavors that exude a touch of minerality on the lingering finish that also displays a hint of sulfur-related dryness. I like the mouth feel as it’s quite fine and if this can develop more depth with a few years of bottle age it should merit the upper part of my predicted range. 86-89 points
