2013 Felettig Chambolle-Musigny Carrieres

(there are only two owners of Les Carrières and Felettig is the only producer from a .40 ha parcel). A completely different aromatic profile is present here with its nose of essence of pure raspberry, red cherry and lilac nuances. This is also intensely mineral-driven with the medium weight flavors displaying excellent punch and razor-sharp delineation on the complex and beautifully persistent finish that is ever-so-mildly austere. This moderately firm effort should amply repay mid-term cellaring. 91-93 points
