The Failla Estate Chardonnay shows off the advantages of high-elevation Chardonnay with luminous flavour and nervy tension. The Estate is more delicate than the Keefer (which still is hard to properly call rich) offering more taut mineral length, and exotic aromas. This wine gives notes of mixed white blossom, citrus pith, and arugula with touches of toast and a hint of wax. Will develop with age. 18 points
