The 2013 Chablis Grand Cru Valmur has a very strict, mineral led nose, hints of white flowers, honeysuckle and almond, perhaps demonstrating a little more intensity than the 2012 at this early stage. The palate is very well-balanced with orange zest and apricot notes. It is poised and focused with an elegant finish, a feminine Valmur that should drink a little earlier than the 2012. Drink 2016-2028. 92 points

Slightly hazy yellow. Intense aromas of yellow peach, orange oil and spices. Densely flavored and rich, even a bit exotic, with flavors of orange oil and pineapple framed by ripe acidity. Comes across as a bit richer than the 2012 today but perhaps less elegant. 90-93 points
