2012 Francois Cotat Sancerre Monts Damnes

Having tasted this just a couple of days ago, it is still in very much its youthful first flush, with chalky notes dominating the fruit, which is only right at this stage. The wine has great, dense and slightly grippy texture, beautifully balanced acidity and a long finish. Lovely wine which will age very well. (CW 20/02/15)
