Made from Sangiovese grapes from the Brunello site, the Rosso DOC allows for the shorter ageing of the wine, though Sesti give their Rosso a full sixteen months in cask. So this is serious stuff. It is ripe, it has all the bright Sangiovese cherry fruit and the lovely mineral dry finish. (CW 24/06/13)

Ian D`Agata
Bright, deep red. Vibrant aromas of redcurrant, sour red cherry, violet and gunflint. Fresh and clean on the palate too, with saline flavors of red cherry and small red berries lifted by a lovely floral note. A zippy mineral quality and lively acidity contribute freshness and cut on the pure, long finish. 91 points
