Antonio Galloni
The 2011 Barolo is soft, supple and expressive. Crushed flowers, mint, sweet, tobacco, spices and red berries are all laced together in a feminine, gracious Barolo with tons of near and medium-term appeal. In 2011, the Barolo is quite pretty and aromatically lifted, with medium-bodied structure that makes it ideal for drinking over the next handful of years. The main sites in the blend are Vignolo, Altenasso, Rocche Mariondino, Albarella, Terlo, Vignane and San Bernardo. 89 ponts.
