Antonio Galloni
Dark red cherry, plum, spice, tobacco and underbrush are some of the many notes that flesh out in Scavino`s 2011 Barolo Carobric. Here, too, the style is soft and silky, very much in keeping with the personality of the year. The Carobric often shows a little more angularity when young, but the 2011 is already quite open. Carobric is a blend of fruit from Cannubi, Rocche dell`Annunziata and Bric del Fiasc. 93 points.
