A blend from two crus. Lurghe and Guardie.
Palish mid ruby with bricky rim. Quite tight, sweet and a little savoury on the nose. Fine, juicy cherry fruit with a powdery tannic spine. Burgundian in style, unostentatious yet deep and long. Highly original. 17.5 points
