The 2010 TINTO, the winery`s flagship estate bottling, is 60% Touriga Nacional, 30% Touriga Franca, 5% Tinta Roriz, 3% Tinta Barroca and 2% Tinta Cao. Unlike the Meandro, this is roughly similar to last year, that is, mostly a Touriga Nacional dominated blend with the major remaining component being Touriga Franca. Consistent with the vintage, this is a bit compact and restrained, but I still liked it a lot. As it evolves, it might even be entitled to an uptick in score. In its own way, it is quite fine. Its tightly wound demeanor gave it precision and focus. Many will appreciate the finesse on display here. It still has enough concentration to age well and it hardly seems wimpy at all. It likely will be early maturing. While approachable, it still needs a year or two in the cellar to become more expressive. Drink now-2023. 92 points
