Two years after the chateau was bought by Antoine Moueix, the new approach is more evident. By this point, the new owners had installed a new cellar with cement tanks, and got rid of the Cabernet Franc vines (which had been planted at low density). This blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon with 36% Merlot and 4% Petit Verdot displays lovely freshness and sapidity, and a saline hint. There`s ripe blackcurrant and black cherry fruit, some menthol coolness, and a twist of liquorice. An impressive evolution in style. 92 points
