Allen Meadows
A cool and airy red berry fruit nose displays hints of violets and humus where the latter element also appears on the rich and round medium weight flavors that culminate in a linear finish of average persistence. This moderately rustic effort is perfectly good but not distinguished. 2016+. 86-88 points

The 2010 Domaine Méo-Camuzet Gevrey villages is another very pretty wine that is just a touch soft-centered. It offers up a lovely bouquet of red and black cherries, woodsmoke, espresso, black minerality and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is medium-full, complex and very pure on the attack, with solid depth, modest tannins and lovely focus on the bouncy and beautifully delineated finish. Good juice. 2012-2025+. 88+ points
