Single-vintage, late-release
55% Chardonnay, 26% Pinot Noir, 19% Pinot Meunier. As bright and citrus-fresh as the MV version, yet with a little extra richness and oyster-shell, ripe pear, watermelon complexity to the aromas. The palate is full-flavoured, with cooked fruit, dried leaves and ripe melon, enlivened by classic English acidity - this would probably continue to age well for a few more years, if given the chance! This bottle was not given that chance, however, and paired beautifully with fried chicken and gochujang mayo. (JH 17/06/22)

Jancis Robinson
Mild and gentle on the nose. Less autolysis on nose than the Blanc de Blancs 2009. But very well balanced, neat and zesty. Great English ambassador. 17 points
