Jane Anson

A warm year, with evident dried herbs and baking spice notes brought by the sunshine. Creamy texture, plenty to love, brambled blackberry with waves of gunsmoke, campfire, cocoa bean, liquorice. A very good wine, if a little less in the DNA of La Gaffeliere. 60% new oak for ageing, Stephane Derenoncourt consultant, Alexandre Malet Roquefort owner. 94 points
