Bourbon cask
Very rarely seen as a single malt, this central Speyside distillery, which you can find on the edge of Craigellachie Forest, has always been sought after by the blenders and so has survived many distillery culls. It did go dark in 1985, but was reopened in 1992. This bottling is driven by rich, malty, orange fruit and has a nice touch of clove to it. (NT 02/12/16)
