The 2009 Chassagne-Montrachet is a very pretty wine if somewhat delicate and even a touch fragile. The Chassagne is made 70% from vineyards on the border with Puligny and 30% vineyards in the heart of Chassagne, which explains much of its personality. Sweet pears and flowers linger on the finish. Drink 2012+. NR

(from parcels spread throughout the commune). Some post-bottling SO2 and attendant
reduction does not completely hide the notes of resin and ripe pear. There is good dry extract to the mouth coating, delicious and round medium-bodied flavors that possess lovely intensity on the focused and notably dry finish. This is a high-quality and relatively forward villages. 2013+. 89 points
