2008 Careme Vouvray Le Peu Morier Demi-Sec

This comes from the limestone ridge that parallels the great river`s flood plain. It is perfumed and packed with intense low yield fruit, plummy, gingery and even the tiniest hint of botrytis. Just off dry, but with top Chenin structure and balance, the fine acidity and the underlying richness playing off one another perfectly. (CW 29/08/14)
