2007 Le Pin (Pomerol)

Still with deep crimson core and youthful in colour. Absolutley glorious perfume of red fruit and definite floral notes, as well as cinnamon sweetness. A hint of orange too – wonderfully exotic and still with a very delicate leafiness that marks this vintage more than most. Totally smooth on the palate, deep and caressing, with that lovely fragrance carried through onto the palate. This is gorgeous. Long and succulent with that scent lingering on and on. 19 points
