1992 Glentauchers, AD Rattray 24 yo 48.7%

Very unusual as a single malt but beloved of blenders, Glentauchers is a classically Speyside sort of malt. This bottling has fruity and spicy notes with bourbon vanilla and malty flavours. There are also some underlying muskier aromas that add an extra layer of interest. Quite long and doesn`t need as much water as some of these bottlings. (NT 02/12/16)
