Gavin Chanin has been making wines under his own name since 2007 (prior to which he worked with Jim Clendenen at Au Bon Climat). A specialist in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, his reputation in Santa Barbara is such that he has earned the (perhaps disputed) moniker of the 'Prince of Pinot'.
