A small producing country making a lot of wine according to Kosher and – best avoided unless you have no choice – Mevushal regulations. Equally there is also a lot - if not mostly - non kosher wine. Israel is a sophisticated wine-consuming nation, particularly in Tel Aviv and here Burgundy and the best of italy are as well represented as anywhere.
